2027 Membership Renewal
Effective July 1, 2026, your membership can be renewed for 2027. The national office will be mailing out renewal notices.
The quickest and easiest way to renew your membership is to go to mylegion.org and renew online. Less than 30% of our annual renewals take advantage of this easy option!
When renewing online at mylegion.org, you have three renewal options:
1. Renew for a one year annual membership. The price is currently $45 for the year.
2. Renew for a three year term. The price is $135 for the 3 years ($45 per year). This protects you from any price increases for the 3 year term.
3. PUFL - Paid Up for Life
With a PUFL you have some distinct advantages:
- Pay in full or 12 monthly installments.
- No more renewal notices.
- No more paying annual dues.
- No more worrying, “Did I renew my membership or not?”
- Join the other 200,000 PUFL Legionnaires in saying, “I believe in The American Legion and what it’s doing. I’m in this for the long haul.”
The price for a PUFL membership is based on age. More information and pricing can be found at mylegion.org when you log into your account.
Annual Dues are remaining at $45.
Your renewed membership is a key to the American Legion remaining as the largest voice for veterans allowing us to pursue the motto of the American Legion, "Veterans Strengthening America".

(We cannot process a 3-year renewal or PUFL at the Post level. This must be done through your account at mylegion.org.)
Your current 2026 membership is good through December 31, 2026. However, our goal is to have 100% membership for 2027 by December 31st of this year!
